Join A Disciple Group (DG)
Hebrews 10:24-25
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
From the time of the early church, we see small gatherings of Christ’s disciples regularly gathering to journey with one another in the pursuit of God.
In some places, they are known as small groups, cell groups, or care groups. Here at BMC, we call them Disciple Groups (DGs) as they are our primary vehicles to fulfil Jesus’ commission to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19-20).
Our Disciple Group meetings often revolve around the 4 Ws of:
• Welcome: Inviting believers to join in fellowship
• Worship: Praising God through a time of song
• Word: Learning about God’s truth and how it applies to our lives today
• Works: Engaging in good deeds together as God’s people (including praying and caring for each other)
Within the DGs, we desire for all to experience and testify to the amazing power of God in their lives – power that transforms what we say, think, and do for God’s purpose and glory.
If you have yet to experience the fulfilling joy of being part of a Disciple Group, reach out to us and we’ll link you up with one!
