God desires to speak to us, to guide us and to give us the wisdom we need from the words of Scripture. He desires to lead us through this time, and He has provided all we will ever need to face these difficulties. All that’s left is for us is to trust Him, to keep our hearts open to Him, and to follow Him obediently in response to His faithfulness and love.
No matter what our weaknesses are, or what the weaknesses of others are, God can use us. God can use them. Only we MUST be willing to hear and respond to God’s call, and then he can empower us and use us.
I want to encourage all of us, be it those working in essential services and at the frontlines of our Covid-19 battle or the people staying at home during this circuit-breaker period, to continually trust in the Lord.
BMC’s vision is “To Be Disciples of Jesus Christ” and our mission is that “We Exist to Make Disciples Who Love God, Love One Another and Love the Lost”. Encapsulated in these two statements, we articulate BMC’s Core: Discipleship.
The next time you see a bird in the sky or on a tree, remind yourself, “My heavenly Father, who provides for the birds, will take care of me and my loved ones” and give thanks to God.
